The streets of North America are as diverse and indifferent as the very climates and landscapes which comprise them. One thing, however is all too familiar. Being alone, lonely, and forgotten, while suffering through either the sweltering heat or frigid cold, can break down the resilience and resolve of even the most hardy among us.

Something as common as a comfortable pair of socks can serve to provide a lift of comfort and joy to those who are simply looking to survive and create a fresh new start for themselves in a world often lacking even the basic necessities.

With every six-pack Streets Socks donation to a homeless shelter in your community, someone facing the very dark and unpredictable hardships of the streets in North America, will have their day brightened and their heart (and feet!) warmed through your kind and compassionate gesture.

There are many needs for those facing the stark reality of having no place to call home, however at the very top of this list, is simply a comfortable pair of socks. And, winter or summer, the seasons make no distinction as to the discomfort and hurt imposed by this lack of a simple, but basic necessity.

Socks are among the most requested items of homeless shelters throughout North America, yet among the least often donated. Unlike most items in our wardrobes, we tend to wear our socks until they’re beyond use, at which point they can naturally no longer be passed on. Because of this shortage, the homeless population is constantly at risk of serious foot disease and, during winter months, in severe danger posed by cold.

Fueled by our global mission , the Foundation has teamed up with generous sponsor partners to launch a unique and high quality series of “street socks”, that now you can help get to those who are truly in need. We look to spread a message of love, respect and opportunity for all in everything we do. That’s why each six-pack of street socks is infused with positive messages of hope and aspiration for a life worth living and the possibility of bright, reclaimed futures.
