Tony March Honored with Bridge Builders Award at 2025 Metropolitan Ministries Luncheon
The Pay It Backward Foundation is proud to celebrate its founder, Tony March, who was honored with the Bridge Builders Award at the 2025 Metropolitan Ministries Bridge Builders Luncheon.
This prestigious recognition was awarded to Tony in celebration of his unwavering commitment to uplifting Tampa Bay’s most vulnerable residents. His life’s work—and the mission of the Pay It Backward Foundation—has consistently reflected a deep belief in the power of second chances, human dignity, and community-driven transformation.
Over the years, Tony has quietly and consistently invested in people—offering time, resources, mentorship, and opportunities to individuals navigating homelessness, poverty, and trauma. Through both personal acts of kindness and large-scale philanthropic initiatives, Tony has helped countless individuals cross bridges to stability, healing, and success.
“It’s not just about giving money—it’s about giving hope,” Tony shared during his remarks. “Bridge building is about removing barriers, restoring faith, and reminding people that they matter.”
The Bridge Builders Luncheon, hosted annually by Metropolitan Ministries, celebrates individuals and organizations that go above and beyond to build a better, more compassionate community. Tony’s legacy of service and his passion for elevating others made him a natural and deserving recipient of this year’s award.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Tony on this honor. His leadership inspires all of us at the Pay It Backward Foundation to continue pushing forward—building bridges, fostering dignity, and creating a future where everyone has the chance to thrive.
